Perry Taylor is well known in South West France for his humorous depictions of French rural life.

He has over 30 years of graphic design and international advertising experience in his back pocket and now creates humorous illustrations at his studio in the Hautes-Pyrénées.
Perry's book, 'Petites Gasconneries', won the Grand Prix Littéraire de Gascogne 2015. It contains over 90 drawings, providing a delightful and slightly irreverent compilation of life in the slow lanes of Southern France.
Originally from Oxford, Perry fell in love with Gascony as it reminded him of the Cotswolds of his youth. With his portrayals of French rural life combined with a English sense of humour, he's become known locally as the 'Anglo-Gascon'.
He has been drawing his new-found French neighbours, their traditions, culture, cuisine and sports, since he and his wife Caroline moved to France in 2004 and they've struck a chord with Francophiles and French alike.
